Rabbinical Program

$200.00 every month for 2 years

The Rabbinical School of the Chief Rabbinate of Africa, named Botsina Kadisha (“The Holy Lamp”), was founded on 3 Tammuz 5780 by men of faith renowned for their deep scholarship.

Our vision and purpose are to form, in every generation, men of faith and wisdom, in accordance with the Torah Alef tradition — the sacred knowledge long preserved and guarded by the Sages of the Mizrach and by the Sages of the lands of Cham ben Noah, standing as Bnei Aliyah, bearers of the authentic Israelite identity.

We are also dedicated to structuring and teaching the Nusach Afriki, as expounded by Rabbi Akiva ben Yosef in Talmud Sanhedrin 110b, so as to faithfully revive this Mishnaic knowledge — the heritage of the indigenous traditions of the Bantus Israelite, and a living testimony to the Torah of the Ten “Lost” Tribes, who embody the spirituality of Yosef HaTzadik.

The preservation of the soul’s holiness and the body’s purity, the refinement of moral virtues, the kavanah (intent) in prayer, and the study of Torah for its own sake form the foundation we have received from Moshe Rabbenu, Rabbi Nechunia ben HaKaneh, Rabbi Akiva, Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai, the Ari HaKadosh, Rabbi Chaim Vital, and their disciples.

Therefore, here we engage in the highest level of study of the entire PaRDeS — the fourfold dimensions of the hidden Torah — pathways open to all Am Bnei Israel and Bnei Israel: those born into our covenant, Ba’alei Teshuvah, Gerim Tzedek, and even the Chilonim (secular seekers), so that each may ascend toward the Tree of Life and the Supreme Divine Reality.
